If Mother Nature was one of 'The Four Mothers' Who would the other Three be?
I’m writing this story that pays homage to Suspiria, Coraline, Pans Labyrinth, Alice in Wonderland and other similar topics, and I need four different main ‘villains’ AKA the ‘Four Mothers’ who each live in one of the four corners of the earth. If Mother Nature was on the ‘Four Mothers’ who would the other three be? I was thinking of a one who was linked to time and death and another who was linked to the mind, but I don’t really know how, any ideas? I would rather they were like, linked to an actual myth or legend or something similar, rather than just made up, thanks so much in advance, I know this is a tricky one!
I’ve always heard that it was Father Time, though, not a mother.
I think this might be a lot easier on you if you know what your story is about, as I don’t know how your story will pay homage to the works you mentioned.
