Doesn't the word "Iran" mean "land of the Aryans" in the Farsi language?
did hitler give them that name? why should Israel not believe the Iranians when they say they will wipe Israel off the map?
The actual Aryans come from Persia which is present day Iran. Hitler took the term and used it as his own.

You think too much, Iran just wants to really wipe AMERICA off the map. Israel then could be taken out. That is the real issue. Bush really helped in that area calling them part of the axis of evil. Two wars, big talk, mission accomplished and nothing…..Just useless talk.

Germany gave them that name, yes, and they kept it because Persia sounded antiquated. The actual Aryans didn’t come from Iran, but from India, but settled in Iran.

No…Persia became widely known as Iran in 1935. The word "aryan" is not a European word. Yes, Israel should believe Iran when they say they want them wiped off the map.

Yes, it does mean "land of the Aryans." Hitler’s ideas about race were predicated on the idea that the peoples of Northern and Western Europe share common descendants with the people of Central and South Asia (Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, India). He chose the swastika as the symbol of his government in part because it has its roots in ancient Indian and central Asian civilizations.
